I whipped these up this morning as I had NOTHING in the house for school lunches. They are so easy to make and make the perfect base to a whole range of things.
I sent them to school with my boys with them spread with Nourish Me Chia Jam but would be delicious with Nourish me Roasted Almond Butter if not nut free for school or even with some home made tomato sauce with mozzarella cheese to make a pizza.
My boys had them for breakfast with some left over roast potato and sweet potato chips this morning!
Garlic can be tricky to get into kids and is incredible in winter to keep their immune systems strong so a nice way to get some into them. Enjoy.. Alisa
Ingredients
- 1.5 cups tapioca flour
- 1 cup organic coconut milk
- 2-3 cloves or garlic (make sure it’s not the white chinese garlic as it’s highly toxic and fumigated – try for the purple Australian or purple Spanish garlic instead)
- 1 tsp Nourish Me Stock (1 tsp herbamare or good quality sea salt would work too)
- 2 tsp italian mixed herbs
- 3 organic room temp eggs
Directions
- Crush garlic
- Place everything in food processor or thermomix and whizz up until blended and smooth
- Cook on hot pan in some coconut oil until brownedThese make great pizza bases, wraps, dippers for soup or flat bread . You could also add some grated zucchini or even some cheese for a different texture.
