How to use it
Shake well before use. Apply to all exposed skin. Repeated application may be necessary in infested areas.

Originally native to Australia, eucalyptus trees are now grown all over the world and widely used it’s strong, clean, fresh scent. Eucalyptus packs a powerful punch in keeping insects at bay. We use a species of eucalyptus that is safe for children and babies.
Organic Lavender Essential Oil
We are obsessed with organic lavender essential oil. We feature it in our Bye Bye Bug because of its known benefits. Distilled from the plant Lavandula angustifolia, lavender oil promotes relaxation. Lavender essential oil smells divine and has been traditionally used for repelling insects, such as mosquito’s. Lavender essential oil is one of the most popular and versatile essential oils used in aromatherapy.
Organic Tea Tree Oil
Tea Tree oil has been used in traditional aboriginal medicine for centuries. It’s used by crushing the tea tree leaves to extract the oil which is then inhaled to treat coughs and colds or applied directly to the skin for healing. We love using it for the strong fresh scent and it’s powerful addition repelling properties in Bye Bye Bug.
Organic Spearmint Oil
The mint family are a powerful herb for repelling mosquitos. Most plants contain compounds that they use in preventing attack from phytophagous (plant eating) insects. These chemicals fall into several categories including constituents that repel insects. Spearmint oil is a natural repellent that deters mosquitos.
Organic Citronella Oil
Unlike other varieties of pesticides, citronella does not kill mosquitos rather it repels them and other pests, reducing the number of mosquitos that land nearby. … Citronella works by masking scents that are attractive to insects namely carbon dioxide and lactic acid in humans.
Organic Australian Sandalwood Oil
Sandalwood Oil is an amazing natural, chemical free, mosquito repellent. We love the earthy scent and the powerful protection that it gives and we also use it to support the Australian Sandalwood industry.
Organic Castor Oil
Castor Oil is a vegetable oil obtained by pressing the seeds of the castor oil plant (Ricinus communis). We use castor oils because of it’s high concentration of unsaturated fatty acids. Castor oil has many powerful benefits on the skin and we use it because of it’s natural protection.

This has worked for our whole family I’m keeping the mozzies away. My 3yr old reacts to mozzie bites and has been asking for it post being bitten (when I’ve forgotten to put it on) and it eases the itch for him too. Absolutely love this stuff! A friend gave me it to try as my sons and i are very allegic to mozzie bites where we swell up and then turn into sores. This has stopped the bites and smells great. Works so much better than main stream supermarket brands of mozzie spray.

Yesterday was the first proper time we’ve used it since we got it. We were going to get some photos taken near a lake at sunset. There were insects and mozzies everywhere. Normally I’d be sweating thinking of all the bites she’s going to get. Normally I’d have the antihistamines on hand ready to go. Instead I sprayed her (and Miss 11 months and myself) with Bye Bye Bug and had all the confidence she wouldn’t be bitten. I wasn’t disappointed! Not a single bite between the 3 of us and we were out there for over an hour. Best of all it’s natural! Bye Bye Bug is a winner in my books!

This bug spray smells divine but most importantly it works. I forgot to apply it to myself, my 1 year old and my 4 year old and we were immediately bitten by mosquitos while having our alfresco dinner. A few sprays of bye-bye bug on each of us and no more bites for the rest of our meal! Yay!
