Spring has sprung! On the weekend we were flooded with sunshine. After a long cold winter it was welcome.

People were smiling, drivers were more courteous. Everybody seemed happier.

I soaked it up and my boys ran around the back yard in their singlets and shorts playing in the sandpit and with water for hours.

We ate ice-cream in the sunshine then a few hours later we made some more!

Sunshine and ice-cream - this is perfection.

The ingredients in this recipe is very specifically chosen to give maximum nutrition. A perfect radio of Omega 3 & 6.

Essential fats for growing brains.

I've given my children this ice-cream for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They love it. I love it. I hope you love it.

Super nourishing - super yummy.  Alisa 🙂

 25 g pumpkin seeds
1/2 tsp organic vanilla extract or one scraped vanilla bean
 4 dates (without pits)

Add remaining ingredients and blend well until forms a perfectly smooth paste. The time for this will determine on how powerful your food processor is. I have a thermomix and it can take up to 3 minutes.
