So I started making these when one of my twin's decided he no longer wanted to eat our usual breakfast before school.
Kids go through phases with foods and this is totally normal but it did mean that he was starving by 10am.
I made these as an experiment and they were a hit! For some reason breakfast biscuits were a whole different story and were incredibly well received!
These super easy biscuits are sooo yummy and made in 1 bowl. If kids are only going to eat small amounts - it's great to make each bite as nutrient rich as possible.
Brilliant for kids who don’t like to eat much in the mornings. These make such an easy, delicious brekky or snack. We can't wait to see your creations! Don't forget to TAG us!
Ingredients
Directions
Mix wet ingredients - mash bananas, and add in maple syrup and almond butter
Add in the rest of the dry ingredients and mix well
Divide into biscuits then BAKE 180 degrees for 15 - 30 minutes or until golden
Hot Tip: if your kids don’t like the chunky-ness of goji & pumpkin seeds blend them to a powder first! Also some desiccated coconut works nicely in this recipe too!
Let cool & enjoy!
